My home network consists of two desktop computers connected via crossover cable. I would like to enable second computer to access internet but, unfortunately, I am still using dial up connection. I know that this is possible to accomplish with broadband connection and network cards but can I share dial-up connection?

Yes, you can share dial-up connection. The question is only how useful this can be. It is very limited even for one computer and you can imagine how this connection will work if two computers are using it at the same time. If you are still eager to share dial-up connection then you can accomplish this completely the same as sharing broadband connection.
