| I plug in my web cam and after Windows XP detects it, and then it get stuck. I need to unplug the device manually, which is not the safest option, no way Hose. This could damage my system, so I wont do it. When I want to uninstall it, same thing happens. And I get this messages device installer error, each time I boot. What does this message means? |

| Did you get your drivers form you supplier or over the internet? Maybe its the driver thing. Try to replace it, click update driver in hardware device manager, and the system will automatically try to find a better solution. If you installed your driver from dll, then its no wonder its stuck. Does your device works? Well, I guess not because youre asking for advice. What about installation on another computer? Try to do this in order to find out what seems to be the problem, camera or system. Or maybe something else, like virus, who knows. Check if any of your video applications is going on. Close it and try to connect your camera once more. Is it working now? |
