I have suse linux distro installed in my computer. I have also iso image of it on some partition. I have heard that newer version of suse I can download with delta iso and just upgrade this one. I am not sure how that acts. It seems that delta dont download whole iso image, but some parts. Do you know more about this?

Delta iso download just a small file, not complete iso image. In that file are just differences between current and further version. When you download disc you will boot it and install it. Before that you have to apply deltaiso. You can do that with following command:
applydeltaiso old delta new
So, just run it and you wont have to download large file. It is really good.
