Dell laptop screen problems

Hello! I have purchased last week new Dell laptop. This morning my laptop has arrived, but I already have a problem with it. Namely, it worked properly just for few minutes, believe it or not. After that, my screen became black and I barely can see contours on it. I have called technical support, but they say that mistake is mine. Help!

Hello! Call again technical support and tell them that your backlight has been failed! They must send you other laptop or take yours for repairing. I sure you that you are not guilty because your laptop do not work. I can tell you that backlight problem is usual for Dell laptops, but I cannot tell you why.
