I have bought brand new Dell Inspiron 600M and it can not boot. I have tried to contact Dell support but I was left on hold for about an hour after I gave up. Next day I tried again with same results. There is no use of Dell support so I have to ask you if you know what the problem is and how to fix it.
Unfortunately, I can not help you with this problem. Dell Inspiron 600M has some issues right out of the box and you will have to be patient and to send them laptop for a full refund. Many people reported similar problems like you and it seems that there is a problem with motherboard in some cases. You were unlucky enough to purchase such laptop.
