| I installed the Pro version of XP on my cousin's Dell Inspiron 6K, and now it doesn't seem to be able to boot up. When I start it, it seems to be doing something (I can hear the hard disk working, and stuff), but the screen stays black, and nothing happens. Eventually, I can even hear the music, but nothing else. Any help? |

| If you can hear the loading music, than the system IS loading. If you can't see anything, than somethings wrong with the visuals, meaning either your monitor or your video card. This being a laptop, I'd put my money on the monitor, the weakened contacts that lose touch when you open it. |
