I’d like to update Windows on my Dell Inspiron 3800 from Win98 to XP but I’ve heard that there are some serious problems occurring when you try doing this. Could anyone tell me what problems are there exactly and how can they be fixed? Should I do this at all? Many thanks!

I remember reading something about this and I don’t think there were any serious problems. I think it was only that the multiple monitors support didn’t exist in Win XP and I believe it was fixed. I’d suggest you to do the update since XP really is more stable and reliable than previous Windows releases.
