Hello! I have Dell Dimension 9100 computer with Windows XP Pro SP2 installed on it. I have problem with hard drive slow accessibility. First I was thinking that cause of this problem is some system infection, but after deeply scanning I have found that this is not case. Have you any idea what this could be?

Hello! Yes, I have. Probably Windows XP from some reason change UDMA to PIO mode. To check this: open Device Manager, then right click on Primary IDE Channel, choose Properties, click Advanced Settings tab and you will probably see in Current transfer mode PIO. In Transfer Mode click on arrow and change to UDMA.
