| I recently bought a Dell configuration. It consist of ASUS motherboard, PQI memory 512 mb RAM, Western Digital hard drive and TFT monitor, Philips. The problem is that computer freezes sometimes. Like, I am playing a SecondLife on the internet, and everything just stops. I dont have a choice then to restart everything. That is certainly not the solution, computer is broken, and thats for sure. I have contacted my vendor, and they said that my warranty doesnt include software repair. This is very rude. Especially from such a great company as Dell. What should I do? |

| The problem is not in the company. They have very good reason to do so. Because they cannot guaranty you that your system will work fine if you surf unprotected. Maybe you pick up some virus during a SecondLife sessions. Who knows? Are you well protected, are you using an antivirus? You must install some antivirus software if you want to surf the internet. Even the best configuration in the world cant protect you from the on-line attacks. That is just one possible reason for your problem. You didnt provide me with enough information, but I could bet it is a software issue. If you want to have your system repaired quickly as possible, simply reinstall your copy of Windows, or whatever system you are using. Dell usually deliver configurations with Windows XP. Good Luck! |
