Decent File transferring software

Hello! I am looking for some decent file transferring software. I know that I can transfer and copy files using CD or DVD burner and CD/DVD media, but I need some software which will allow me to access files on some other servers, etc. If you know for some, I will be appreciating! Thank you!

Hello! I can tell you that I am using for years Total Commander. This software is very reliable and it is useful tool. Using it, you can transfer files or completely move them; you can access to other computers and servers (e.g. FTP). It is very easy for use and has user friendly interface.
