Hi there. My name is Johnny and I hope you will be able to help me with this problem. When I press power on button on my computer I can hear only some strange beeps and I can not see anything on monitor. A friend told me that this is because my CPU is damaged. Is he correct or there is some other explanation?

Hello Johnny. Damaged CPU is one of the probable causes for such behavior. To be completely sure if this is CPU causing problems or is there some other explanation you will have to remember beeping sequence and post it here. Alternatively, you can try to find explanation for beeping sequence on BIOS manufacturer web page. Every beeping sequence has its own meaning and it can help you troubleshoot problem correctly.
