I’m trying to install D-link DWL AG660 G wireless card into my HP laptop that’s running under XP. Unfortunately, when Windows detects new hardware and I try to start the setup process, I get some message saying that the PCMCIA MTD-0002 cannot be found. What do you think is wrong with my new wireless card?

What model HP laptop do you have? Some of them have an integrated network card and I suppose that may be causing the problems. But I suppose you’d know if this is the case. Anyway, I’ve also heard that some HP laptops have problems with network cards generally and it has something to do with the BIOS that comes with them. I think you might try to contact either HP or D-Link and ask them about this.
