Hello. I have DVD combo optical device and it worked fine for some time. I was able to read most CD and DVD media and while burning CD media I have not experienced a single problem. Unfortunately, DVD combo won’t write CDs any more. Is there something I can do with this problem? Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hello. If DVD combo drive stopped writing CDs after you were using it for a long time then you can safely assume that part responsible for burning in DVD combo is dead. You can try to replace it or take it to some technician but considering current market price of new DVD burners it would be a waste of money.
