| I have a problem with my DVD writer. It’s running very slow and it takes me ages to burn a single DVD. It’s pretty irritating, especially when I’m in a hurry. Sometimes the DVD is corrupted and I can’t use it. Can you tell me what the possible cause can be and how to solve it? I hope that it’s not a hardware problem, since I’ve just got that DVD writer. |

| Hm, don’t worry anyway. I know that it’s irritating when a device that you’ve just bought isn’t working properly but the good thing is that you probably have some kind of warranty. I usually meddle with both software and hardware, but I wouldn’t suggest you that because a couple of times I caused even greater damage than the initial damage was. So, the only things that I’d suggest you would be to run some anti-virus software and see if maybe a virus is causing the problems. If it’s not, then the best thing would be to go to the store where you bought the DVD writer and tell them the symptoms. I’m sure that they can give you the most accurate advice about what to do. |
