| Hello! I have NEC dvd rw drive. Since few days ago my troubles with this drive started. Namely, my dvd rw stopped to read any media. I am afraid that it is broken, but I do not know how I can check that. My friend told me that it is broken for sure. Is he right? I hope that you will tell me more. |

| Hello! I think that your friend could be right. First check if you have connected your dvd rw drive properly with other hardware. If you do, then try to uninstall it and install again in Device Manager. If this doesnt help, try with cleaning cd. If this doesnt help, too; then I suggest you to take it to repair, because its lasers are broken. |
