Hi! I am using my DVD burner a lot, and I want make sure that it wont get damaged. Why? Because I burn 10 DVDs daily, thats why. I dont know about daily recommendations, there is nothing about that issue in my handbook. Do you know about some advanced applications for DVD burners? Nero is just not good enough for me. By the way DVD burner is Pioneer 107D. Just name a few applications and I will try to find demo versions of them.

Well, 10 DVD-s daily is not much, depends what is your writing speed. For example, if you burn everything with 16 X, you will damage your drive. It doesnt matter if its Pioneer or Plextor, they all have their limitations. There is a great piece of software called click DVD, I use it all the time. Its main purpose is copying DVD into your hard drive. Its fast, easy-to-use, and it can break any dvd protection. The latest version incorporates CPRX technology, which keeps your drive free from copy mistakes. Problem with it is that demo version doesnt give you full features. That nothing new, but hose advance option are the best part of the application. You can select among different compression methods, of course, in a full features version. Then, there is CloneDVD, which is good for DVD burning (movies). DVD copiers works fine also, it can break any protection.
