I have this LG DVD RW device for a few days already and so far I really didn’t had any needs to burn anything with. I have noticed that I don’t have the desired burning speed when I am about to start writing the DVD. Nero just doesn’t detect the Drive’s speed. Is this because of Nero or my Device? The device seems like unused so far, which tells me that I have to click somewhere. Ok. Where? Thanks in advance.

You will have to click much more times than once, believe me. I think that you don’t just miss your burning speeds inside your version but also your entire device is missing. In return, Nero automatically switches to the Image or Virtual recorder, and works like Virtual Drive manager. I think that you need to upgrade your Nero product version. The newer one is going to detect your DVD-RW. Try using Nero 7 for instance.
