I am trying to setup my own domain but have some WinXP Client Logon issues when I try logging on. Server has PDC Integrated DNS and works under Windows 2003 Server. Clients are using 3XP Professional. Client 1 says: ‘The system cannot log you on now because the domain is not available’. Client 2 says: ’The time synchronization between the client and DC is out of synch.’. Since I’m new to all this, I don’t really know what to do now. I would really appreciate some help with this!

We need more info if you want us to help. First of all, are you using DHCP or static IPs?
Static IPs are not good when it comes to large networks but since yours is a small one it would probably be a good solution for you. Again, since you’re on a small network you should try pinging from the server to workstations and then the other way. What did you get? The last thing I can think of is that something might be wrong with the workstations and it’s usually the last place you check. Maybe you could run fdisc on both of your workstations and see if that helps.
