Hello. I am running Windows XP operating system with Service Pack 2 installed and Internet Explorer 6. My friend told me that I would surf internet easier if I use Favorites. But, I am not sure how I should use Favorites in Internet Explorer and I hope you will tell me something more about this subject.

Hello. Favorites folder is very useful because there you can save websites or web pages which you are visiting very often. To do that, when you go to some websites, click Favorites menu, then click Add to Favorites (you can change name or save it as it is displayed), then click OK. When you want to visit some website from Favorites, just open Favorites and click on the wanted website. If you have a lot of websites in your Favorites, you can arrange them: open Favorites and right click anywhere and choose Sort by Name. But, if you have too many saved websites and alphabetic order does not help you, then you can organize your Favorites to folders: click Favorites menu, then click Organize Favorites, then click Create Folder, then name that folder. You can make as many as you want folders on this way. When you make folders, to move certain websites to made folders click Move to Folder button and choose for each folder contents.
