| I connected two pcs using a crossover cable both running xp and mcafee internet security.The ip address assined to gigabyte pc was 192.168.0.2, subnet mask 255.255.255.0,default ip 192.168.0.1. The ip address assined to intel pc was192.168.0.1 , subnet mask 255.255.255.0,default ip 192.168.0.1. I shared folders on both the pcs and ran xp network setup on both.From gigabyte i could access files on intel but not vice versa,error cannot find the pc or access denied. In view workgroup computers both pcs are seen on both the computers.Please guide! |
