Crashing problem: Is it Hardware or Software?

I have a really big problem: my computer crashes very often and I do not know is that hardware or software problem. Recently I havent installed any new device or component, only I have installed Zone Alarm firewall. I use win XP Pro SP2. All of my programs are updated with the newest driver. What do you think this should be?

There can be two things, first is software and second hardware. Zone Alarm some time can cause this problem, but, before you uninstall it check if your processor is overheated. Could be that you need new cooler. If everything is ok with processor temperature, then cause of the problem is ZA. Uninstall it.
