My computer's started to crash whenever my daughter's playing games, showing the Blue Screen of Death. It used to work fine, no problems at all. I mean, it still does, except when she's playing… it's mostly those 3D action thing games that do it, I never have problems when I'm playing Civ 3. Is there some way of figuring out what's wrong with it on my own, without taking it in for repair? Thanks in advance,

In cases like these, your best bet is usually overheating. You could open the case, remove the fan and heat sink, clean out the dust, and apply some cooling paste. Also, getting a stronger fan wouldn't hurt. Also, what video card do you have? It may not be able to handle the more demanding games, in which case you'll just have to update.
