I am wondering is there any big difference between wireless and wired connection regarding transmission control protocol? I only know that range of IP differs. So, is there some Wifi routing capability for preventing unwanted guests? Is it easy enough for a hacker to do its job if I am on wireless? Thanks in advance on this weird question.

Not a big difference, believe me. Follow just one logic. Are you using your keyboard to enter any data? Yes you do. Are you using wireless or standard PS/2 keyboard? On the screen you always get the same results, right? The key is key, no matter on which way it is transmitted. So could you be hacked on Wireless? Of course you can. If someone who know how to, is attending to make a damage or steal some data from you, he will do it. IP address is just transmitting trough several ways, and thats it. And because of that, do not exclude firewall programs in any case.
