Hi! I just bought a new PC yesterday and put WinXP on it. To test it’s performance, I installed the latest Tomb Raider but after just a few minutes of playing the game froze and I had to restart my computer. Unfortunately, that’s when I got the message about
NTFS.sys file being corrupt. Should I try reinstalling the OS? Any help would be highly appreciated!

Did you reformat the hard drive? What program did you use? I know that reformatting a NTFS file type hd can really be PIA. The standard fdisk for Win 9X/ME can’t adjust NTFS partitions at all. I think that if you have XP installed you should be able to work with NTFS formatted hard drives. But if that isn’t working for you try using partition magic.
