| I have been using the same computer few years now. However, in the last two weeks I noticed something strange. Whenever I worked longer, I got a strange sound from my case. I discovered that in those moments my case fan spins over 9000 RPM. What is going on? Should I maybe change my cooling fans of 80mm with 120mm fans? |

| There are three possible reasons for your problem. First thing, check your CPU temperature in BIOS. If CPU temperature is high, it increases the temperature inside the case. That is why your case fun increases speed. It is trying to reduce the temperature of the whole system. In that case remove and clean the cooler of your CPU. Before you return it on its place, do not forget to put heat sink on your CPU. The second reason for your problem could be in unstable voltage power. You can check voltages that your PSU gives in your BIOS. If your voltages are wrong then you have to change you PSU. Third reason is the most painful one and it means that your motherboard is probably damage and that it gives the wrong parameters to the case fun. |
