| Hello. I had temperature problems with my old replaced router. Now, the new one LInksys EG009W switch is making me the same scene. It is working for only about four weeks and it is really, really quiet. In fact the fan is not spinning at all, again, and because of that I am afraid to keep this thing turned on. Is there any way to replace the fan only, not the whole piece of hardware? Thanks in advance. |

| Hello. There is way and it is not difficult at all. You need just a little bit more calm hand than usual. Because inside, everything is so softy. Pull the face away from the unit, it is pretty easy. After that, remove the top part of rear gray section and this will provide you access to the PCB. The fan at which you are staring next, is the one for replacement. If you want, buy the new one but you don’t have to. Find some old GeForce 4 MX440 Graphic Card or similar, and take off the fan from it. It will fit nicely I think. |
