Converting music from a mac to pc

Hello! I have some music on my Mac and I want to play it on my standard desktop computer. When I copied music from Mac system to windows XP, I have realized that windows wont play it. I am wondering is there any solution for converting music from Mac to PC. Your answer will helps me a lot! Thanks!

Hello! I think that there is no need for converting music file, because they are standard. I think that you are missing some codec in your windows. I suggest you to try to figure out which one are you missing and download it from the internet. Maybe it would be the best to download full package of codecs. I am sure this will solve your problem.
