Converting Bitmap images in Irfanview

Hello! I got some drawings in BMP format that take up too much place. I have to put them online and sending it seems an impossible mission (it’s almost a full DVD of different drawings). I decided to convert them to JPG (with irfanview I used before), but the drawings seem too blurry after conversion. They are not useful as such.

The problem might lie in JPEG quality setting. Find that setting and move the slider towards bigger number. Also, you should consider using some other format for compression, either GIF (if less colors is not a problem to you), or PNG (this is an ordinary compressed BMP). JPEG is just too lossy.
