Connectng my IBM laptop to TV

Greetings! Connection issue here, wonder if somebody could help me handle my problem. I have IBM laptop that I would like to connect with my TV monitor. I am experiencing some kind of trouble making it possible. One thing crossed my mind is it possible to be done in some other way that I am missing? Maybe I am talking rubbish here.

Hello! Well I honestly dont have any connecting laptop and TV monitor experience in my past. I did connect my PC with regular connection cable so I assume you should be able to do the same with right s-video cable. I am not sure what kind of problem you are experiencing, could tell me something more about it. Having problem copying picture on TV screen? You suppose to make certain settings on the graphic card to make it happened you know.
