| I have many VHS types with my children in my archive. Now I want to burn them on DVD's. A friend told me that it is possible, but he did not know is it possible to connect old video recorder to PC. Also, I need some information about equipment I need for that beside the computer, which I already have. If somebody can help me with that, I would appreciate it. |

| That is possible of course. Any functional video player or recorder will serve for this purpose. However, you will need three things for that beside the computer. First thing you will need is some hardware equipment for importing VHS signal in computer. For that, you can use either firewire card, or TV tuner card, or some video card with VIVO option or some special card like Pinnacle Mirror cards. Another thing you will need is some software for importing VHS signal into computer. There are many types of software for that purposes on the market. However, I will recommend you to use Adobe Premiere, because it is the best and the easiest among those softwares. At last, you will need some knowledge to do that properly. |
