I have had only ATA hard disks until recently. However, few days ago I have bought SATA drive. It is much faster and has greater capacity than my current disk. However, I am not sure how to connect it. If anyone has any advice for me, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Installing SATA drive is not that difficult as it may seem to be. You should prepare your motherboard manual, since there is located the place for connecting SATA. Then simply find location on your motherboard and connect with a cable. After you turn the computer on, it should recognize it and you will be able to work with it without a problem. If you still want to find out about this procedure in more detail, I suggest you go to http://www.peachpit.com/articles/
