Hello! I have router which speed is 54 mbps and network card which speed is 100 mbps. I am wondering now if I am able to connect this router and this network card. Until now, I have faced only with routers which speed is 100 mbps or higher ad network cards always had lower speed then router and that is why I am concerned will this work.

Hello! You can connect this 54 mbps speed router to 100 mbps network and everything will work properly. I mean, your network speed will be 54 mbps. You will have this network speed, because rule saying that your network speed will be same as speed of the slowest network component. That means if you have one network card which has 10 mbps speed, and router 100 mbps speed, your network speed will be 10 mbps.
