I have change cd-rom on my computer. I think that I have done everything properly. From some reason my computer wont recognize it. I didnt get some installation cd for my cd-rom when I bought it. What I should to do now: go to vendor and ask for installation cd or try to find in the internet some drivers?

For cd-roms you dont get installation cd. Also, you cant find drivers in the internet, because there are no drivers for it. Computer just recognizes every cd-rom or dvd-rom. I suggest you to check your ide cable and ide slot on mother board. It could be that your cable is broken or you havent connected properly or something like that. If you havent experience with hardver, ask someone who has it to check.
