Computer reboots when NIC is inserted

Help me out please! Whenever I insert my NIC the PC reboots. I have no idea what the problem can be. Everything was working just fine and all of a sudden it started rebooting and I need to fix everything as soon as possible, because I have to divide the bandwidth into two in order for me and my roommate to use the Internet.

That’s though. Maybe you should call somebody who knows something about networking because there are many things to adjust in order for everything to work properly. As for the reboot part of your question, I can only guess what the problem can be. But you can start with checking whether your USP is powerful enough too support all the devices you’ve connected. Also try to find out whether you’ve connected it properly. Sometimes incorrect drivers can also cause problems and you can check that out also. But when it comes to such complicated things, maybe you should really contact somebody who can properly connect your two PCs. And finally, sometimes there are hardware problems and maybe the card is not good.
