Computer can not recognize digital camera

Hello! I am running Windows XP Professional operating system (service pack 2 is installed) and I have a problem. Namely, when I attach my digital camera to my computer, my Windows XP Professional cannot recognize it. This is very strange to me and I think that something is wrong with this digital camera…

Hello! Well, I cannot see that you have mentioned anything about software which you have installed with your digital camera. I do not know how you expect to make your digital camera working and recognized on your Windows XP Professional if you have not installed supported software for it? When you do that, you will solve your problem.
