| Hello! I have Hewlet Packard Compaq Presario laptop. My optical drive stopped to read and burn DVD and CD media. I have tried in Device Manager to uninstall it and install it again, but that did not solve problem. So, I suppose so that I need new optical drive. Please, tell me something about its replacement. |

| Hello! Well, regarding the fact that you have laptop and not desktop PC, replacement is not that easy. If you want to replace it on your own, you will need to open your laptop, which is not recommended. I think that the best solution would be to send this laptop to Hewlet Packard service and let them to repair it for you. |
