Compaq Presario boot Problems

I have Compaq Presario 2500 and boot problems with it. When I power up my laptop it gives me a warning that hard drive failure is imminent and to press F1 to continue. After pressing F1 next message is media test failure. I have tried reinstalling windows XP but I can not boot computer even from CD. Can you give me any suggestion about this problem?

Hello. Unfortunately, only suggestion I can give you regarding this Compaq Presario boot problem is to take it to technician or use your warranty (if you still have it) and return it to manufacturer. It is obvious that laptop is broken and I am not sure if you will be able to fix it all. You can not boot from hard drive and from CD so there is some serious problem with hardware.
