Compaq Presario CPU Fan not working

Hello! My notebook is getting overheated and I realized that something is wrong with the CPU fan. I can use it only for an hour or so and then it becomes very hot and Im afraid it will get corrupted if I dont do something! I have entered into settings but the problem cant be fixed from here! What would you suggest?

Hi there! If its getting really hot you should be aware that this is very dangerous. From one to another malfunction your whole notebook could get corrupted. So, you better ASAP take that notebook to some service where the specialists will take a closer look inside and they will determine what the cause of this is. If you are not an expert let someone with proper knowledge do this. Also, if it is under the warranty, you shouldnt take any chances trying to open it. That way you will lose your warranty and you could kiss your notebook goodbye!
