Isn't there supposed to be an S-video output on this thing? As in, one that lets you connect it to an independent TV or video monitor? I can't find the damn thing, and I don't have the documentation on me (e-bay buy). However, I distinctly remember there being a description of one in a review I saw … Now there, this is the link: http://ationmagazine.net/category.php?cat_id=11
The rest of the machine seems to be the real deal, it's just that this output port seems to be missing… Can anyone give me a rational explanation here?

Well, I can't say anything based on that review, because your link is broken. But still, judging from the Compaq site, yes there is supposed to be an S-video output there. It's in a (relatively) prominent place, so if you can't find it, I can only assume it's not there. Maybe you've got a slightly different model. Or a factory error, perhaps? If it is, you might be holding a rare item there
