That is the message I get when I try to run Cold Fear - Video Mode not Supported. What does this mean? My card is on the list of supported graphic accelerators, so it should be able to run it… I don't know what they mean by "video mode", though. Is there somewhere I can change this, or something?

Well, I would assume that video mode is referring to a setting of your video card or monitor (or both) that doesn't match what the game wants / needs to use. Which card do you have? Most models should have an override menu where it can be set to force a certain resolution, refresh rate, or whatever… if you disable that, the game should be able to set these parameters to whatever it needs.
