| I have recently installed Word 2000 and for a while everything was all right. However, in last few days, whenever I close a document, it causes runtime error. I do not have too much experience with fixing that sort of problems, so if anyone could help me with some suggestions, that would be great. Thanks in advance. |

| Runtime errors are not too common for Word. However, it is not that they are rarely seen. Runtime error is an error in a macro, or perhaps there is an add-in starting. Usually these two are not a creation of the program, but of some third-party. In any case, you can either remove these add-ins and try disabling Macros, or you can re-install the program. I would first try the former option, as it takes less time. It seems to me that it should work well enough. If you continue to get these messages, try the latter. It should solve your problems. |
