Hi all! I want to set up a router and firewall using a Cisco 831 router. I’m just not sure how to set it up so that only certain ports are allowed extra public IPs. I installed SDM and have yet to set an outside public IP to act as a NAT for the IP's on the LAN. It seems to me that I should add an internal route to another internal IP address. Any help with this would be highly appreciated!

I’m not exactly sure what you want but I’ll try helping you. I think that you should set the default gateway to the Cisco 831 Router and you should have Port forwarding working normally. I hope this helps you. If this is not what you’re looking for, please write again and try to be more clear with what you’re asking for.
