While I was trying to install Cisco VPM client on my Windows XP Home computer I received following error:" Cisco Systems VPN Client is not compatible with Microsoft's Internet Connection Sharing for Windows XP. Internet Connection Sharing must be uninstalled before the VPN Client can be installed." Is there something I can do to fix this issue?
Hello. Isn't it obvious you have to uninstall Internet connection sharing on your computer? There is a good article about this on Microsoft knowledge base. But, as far as I know, VPN can not be installed on Windows XP Home edition. You need XP Professional to be able to install Cisco VPN client 3.5.1.C-k9. This is just my opinion. Maybe Cisco support will tell you something more about this problem.
