I'm mostly new to router/network organizing, and I've only had experience with one previously. However, now we've got a Cisco 877w router, and I'm just getting to know it. What I can't figure out is how to set up port forwarding? I've been fiddling with that in SDM and in CLII for a while, but nothing seems to work. Incidentally, is a static IP a requirement for port forwarding? Thanks for any assistance…

I'm not familiar with the exact model, but on my Cisco router there was this built in virtual web server of sorts, which let you manage things. Well, just in case you have that, the port forwarding setup was handled via the following path Configuration/Advanced/ PAT… and no, as far as I know, a static WAPN IP isn't necessary for port forwarding. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
