I've upgraded to Ffx v.2 recently, and I'm not too happy with it. One thing that's bothering me right now are the download options. Is there some way to disable the default automatic download, the integrated one? I'd much prefer to use my download client with it. But Firefox won't let me, even if I Ctrl-click the link it starts the default downloader… I need to copy the link and paste it into the client each time, and it's frustrating. Where do I turn off this thing?

If I get what you're trying to do, you don't really need to turn it off. One of the most widely used add-ons for Firefox was always the FlashGot plugin. It works with most download clients, and you can configure it to start your clickable downloads automatically, or to offer you a command choice. I'm pretty sure FG works with 2.0 *(I'm an Opera man myself). Find it at mozilla.org, you won't be sorry.
