| Yesterday a terrible thing happened to me! I was on a lunch break and came back some 10 minutes earlier to my working place. I saw a guy who just pulled out a CD from my workstation. He was a bit surprised, I think, but he said he was just doing a security backup of the computers, as ordered by the boss. The other colleagues don’t know anything about this. It looks like he was stealing an application I’ve been working on. What should I do? I can’t tell the boss, he’ll be angry that I left machine unprotected. |

| This is a serious problem, and I think it’s best to talk about it with your boss immediately. The guy might use your source code to build his own application. It’s possible to find out who that was; your company has some security cameras, for sure. And, don’t forget to lock your computer when leaving your desk! |
