Carefully use search engines

I think that I will use search engine more carefully next time. I was looking for a good and trustworthy antispyware program. Of course, first step was Google. I have entered spyware as a search term and got plenty of results. I have clicked on top most result (with slightly different background) thinking it is on top it must be the best. I was so wrong. I had to reinstall Windows after a month because it was not able to recognize several spyware programs. What is your opinion about search engines?

This is one of annoying aspects of using Google and any other search engine in that matter. You have clicked on paid link. This is a way for companies to advertise on Google. They are paying Google some money to have their web site listed on the top for a certain keywords. These paid links have a different background or they are in the box on the right side of the screen. You should always follow regular top links. These links are there because many users click them. This is no question of carefully using search engine. You should just be informed, as consumer, what these links represent.
