| OK, so I saved some web pages offline to the HD drive of a desktop computer, and when I open them there they show up perfectly normal, but then when I moved them to a laptop, I can't see them OK, onlythe text shows up (and all screwed up, too) but no images or anything. The laptop can open the pages online normally. I don't know why this is happening?! |

It depends on how you saved them in the first place, and what exactly you copied to the second computer. Assuming you use Internet Explorer (sounds like it anyway), it's likely that you saved the pages as "HTML only", which is the bare bones you're seeing now. The fact that on the first computer you're still seeing the background images and everything is because these are still kept in your browser's cache, but that's not transferred to the second machine.
You'll need to save them as "full" and copy everything, including the folders that are made when you save, to the second computer.
