Cannot uninstall Adobe Reader 6

Hello. I have problem with uninstalling Adobe Reader 6. I have decided to use Foxit Reader, because it is smaller, uses significantly less memory and starts in a second. Adobe Reader 6, on the contrary, uses insane amount of RAM and I have to wait for ages until it starts up (I have heard that this is even worse with newer versions). The question is: how to uninstall Adobe Reader 6?

Hi. I guess you have tried to uninstall it from Add/Remove programs and that you failed. I also guess you have tried to uninstall it with uninstaller from Adobe folder and that you have failed. You can try to uninstall it from command line if you enter following command (it is long command so it is the best to just copy and paste it): “MSIEXEC /UNINSTALL {AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-A00000000001} REBOOT=SUPRESS /QB-“ (without the quotes, naturally).
