OK, I'm not officially going crazy trying to setup this thing. I've got a brand new ADSL connection and a Speed Touch modem-router to go with it, except it will no longer work. I set it up as described in the docs, and it worked for a couple of weeks, but now the connection is dead, and I can't even access the modem controls because it prompts me for the password, and when I enter it (the one written in the ISP-provided docs) nothing happens! Some help, please?!

Usually the best course of action in this situation is to reset your gateway (modem/router) device and set it up again from ground zero. There should be a small button somewhere in the back of the device – use a pen or needle to press it and hold it down for half a minute or so, and this should reset it. Start the setup from the beginning the way you did earlier, see if it helps.
